Directions to the Old Stonehouse in Yandoit Hills from Melbourne.
Here’s a simple outline of your journey:
Start on the M3 Freeway: Leave Melbourne and get onto the M3 Freeway heading northwest.
Follow the M79:After about 20 km, take the exit toward M79 (Western Ring Rd) continuing northwest.
Take the Calder Freeway M79:Merge onto the Calder Freeway and continue for approximately 70 km.
Exit at Carlsruhe: Take the exit towards Carlsruhe (about 10 km before you reach Bendigo). Follow the local roads towards Daylesford. Turn right before reaching Daylesford on to the Daylesford-Newstead Road.
Turnoff the Daylesford-Newstead road at the CFA shed. Follow Yandoit Creek Road past Sandon Road to the corner of Nevans Rd, veer left over the creek and we are the first driveway on your right.
Arrive at Old Stonehouse where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings! Make sure to check for any road updates or conditions before you head out and beware of kangaroos – especially if travelling at night. Safe travels!
